Jammu and Kashmir is home to several valleys such as the Kashmir Valley, Tawi Valley, Chenab Valley, Poonch Valley, Sind Valley, and Lidder Valley.[32] The Kashmir valley is 100 km (62 mi) wide and 15,520.3 km2 (5,992.4 sq mi) in area.[33] The Himalayas divide the Kashmir valley from the Tibetan plateau while the Pir Panjal range, which encloses the valley from the west and the south, separates it from the Punjab Plain of the Indo-Gangetic Plain.[34] Along the northeastern flank of the Valley runs the main range of the Himalayas.[35] This valley has an average height of 1,850 metres (6,070 ft) above sea-level,[33] but the surrounding Pir Panjal range has an average elevation of 10,000 feet (3,000 m).[36] The Jhelum River is the major Himalayan river which flows through the Kashmir valley.[37] The southern Jammu region is mostly mountainous, with the Shivaliks, the middle and the great Himalayas running parallel to each other in a southeast-northwest direction. A narrow southwestern strip constitutes fertile plains. The Chenab, Tawi and Ravi are important rivers flowing through the Jammu region.[38]

Day 01 (Arrival Srinagar– Local sightseeing)

Tour Details

  • Meet upon arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to hotel.  After freshening up at the hotel u will

    proceed for sightseeing there u will have a visit to Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden,

    Chashmashahi Garden, Shankaracharya Temple & Botanical Garden. Dinner & Overnight stay

    at Srinagar hotel.

Day 02 (Srinagar-Gulmarg -Srinagar 122 Kms)

Tour Details

  • After breakfast leaves Srinagar and starts driving towards Gulmarg. Gulmarg (2730 Mtrs Above

    sea Level) ("Meadow of Flowers") is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination during

    winters. Relax and evening is at free at its leisure. Gulmarg is famous because of its "Gulmarg

    Gondola," one of the highest cable cars in the world (Direct Payment Basis). You can also visit

    Bootapathri & Golf Club, the charming place in the Gulmarg that attracts everyone by its natural

    beauty. In the evening return to Srinagar, Dinner & overnight in Srinagar at Hotel.

Day 03 (Srinagar – Sonamarg - Srinagar)

Tour Details

  • after breakfast at hotel, you will be proceeded for Sonmarg (2800Mtrs above sea level), which

    means ' meadow of gold ' has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.

    Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajwas glacier a major attraction during the summer

    months. In the evening return to Srinagar, Dinner & overnight in Srinagar at Hotel.

Day 04 (Srinagar – Pahalgam)

Tour Details

  • After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 139.8kms will be

    covered in about 3 hrs 19 mins. En route visit Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs. old

    temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awanti Verma), see the beautiful countryside on the way

    and a lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Dinner & Overnight stay at Pahalgam hotel

Day 05 (Pahalgam Local Sightseeing)

Tour Details

  • After breakfast at hotel u will be proceeded for Pahalgam locals. There u will have a visit for

    locals – Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari , Mini Switzerland & Pahalgam Valley. In the

    evening, return to the Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Pahalgam Hotel.

Day 06 (Pahalgam - Srinagar)

Tour Details

  • After breakfast leaves from Pahalgam and drives towards Srinagar, after a couple of hours of

    drive, you will reach Srinagar go to shopping malls here to check in to Houseboat. The evening

    is free at its leisure. Dinner & overnight in Srinagar at Houseboats.

Day 07 (-Srinagar Airport Drop.)
